the founders of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum envisioned a future where generations would be inspired by the natural wonders of the Sonoran Desert. That vision became our mission, and environmental stewardship became the heart of our work.

The Desert Museum has been sustained through the years by a devoted community of support, a commitment to mission, and a belief that today, more than ever, we all need to be accountable for the well being of the natural world.

We live in challenging times, but continue to invest in our belief that the wild places of the Sonoran Desert deserve our protection.

We invite you to join us in our vision of stewardship for the Sonoran Desert, to partner with us in our mission of conservation, and to support us in continuing our work.
