The Journal of day 6 on the Green River

It’s super duper super typical morning of July 12,2010 on the green river. The melodic sounds of chirping birds wake me up around 5:15AM.I couldn’t sleep again. Why should I sleep? Let me listen to these great sounds because it’s the perfect time for me to listen to them; slow quiet winds flow with the singing of birds. At 6:00 the sounds stopped. That’s the time we actually wake up here. I’m scared of waking up .Do you know why? I have donated a lot of my blood to bugs and they were outside of our tents waiting for us. We all got a lot of bites from them. They really have great sounds but it hurts very badly when they bite you. I had no choice so I had to wake up and donate more blood. I was surprised to see most of the Earth campers in line waiting to go to the groovier, can you guess why? It’s because the guides feed us a lot of healthy food. We surely ate! It’s breakfast time. Our guides are like family. They all set up our river crafts. We made a fire line and put our stuff in them. That’s what we always do. It’s now a habit to make a circle before we leave a place, study, go to sleep and when we reach whenever we have to camp; So we made circle and ready to get in and continued our journey. Can you imagine the great fun time we had? It’s gorgeous, we flew higher and higher in mountains of water, we went underneath like bears, we did work together like ants, we hiked more than usual. We Earth campers were investigating how to share the planet. We reached the beach where we had to have lunch and camp right there. I asked one of the staff,  “Why are we camping at this time? I thought it was like 10:00AM but it was 4:03PM. He said, “we are camping at this time because of this unbelievable beach, we’re going to learn more stuff from this area”. We had an hour of free time. I went around the bush to look for something and I saw a venomous snake faced to me. So I looked for a stick to kill it. I remember that we aren’t supposed to kill anything but to save. I said by myself “what should I do then?” Suddenly I remember that I have magic for dangerous animals like this. I did it and the snake changed direction I passed easily. Free time was done so it was scientific time and other pretty cool stuff. Some of us attempted to look for minerals what cause some sand to look black and shining at the riverbank.

STOP GHOST POWER

My commitment is to stop ghost power, which would save energy, the earth and your money.  I myself promise that I’m going to stop this and teach others about it. How about you? As you know, most of us waste our money for electricity because we don’t unplug the items when we aren't using them such as lamps, TV, Computer, Radio, and Fan. I didn’t know this used a lot of energy in our houses till Earth Camp gave me a class about it. Dear ladies and gentlemen, let’s join together and save this desert of energy to do well for the earth and so next generation will have the same things we do. If the entire country, state, and city will have this education and understand it very well, then we wont need to worry anymore that this month I’m going to pay huge amount for the electricity. Whenever you save energy, you not only save money, you also reduce the demand for such fossil fuels as coal, oil, and natural gas. Less burning of fossil fuels also means lower emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), the primary contributor to global warming, and other pollutants. We all want green but how would we change this world in green? We have to be careful with this kind of controllable stuff. I have never think about this before, I asked myself why do we need green world? We should struggle to win this it. We shouldn’t struggle to increase it.

According to the to the website EcoMall, A Place to Help Save the Earth says, “The average American produces about 40,000 pounds of CO2 emissions per year. Together, we use nearly a million dollars worth of energy every minute, night and day, every day of the year. You can cut your annual  emissions by thousands of pounds and your energy bills by a significant amount”!
