Community Partnership
This is truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity! The Desert Museum is partnering with Habitat for Humanity in support of one of Tucson's refugee families relocating to our wonderful community. The winning bid will provide an opportunity to work with Desert Museum horticultural staff, and Habitat for Humanity staff and volunteers, on a special environmentally sustainable home complete with a beautiful desert garden inspired and designed by the Desert Museum Botany Department. There is no "elbow-grease" required, however, the winning bidder and their guests will have the opportunity to be a part of this ground-breaking partnership from beginning to end..with the knowledge you have helped two of Tucson's most important institutions deliver their mission to our community.
