Mighty Sky Night and Beth Nielsen Chapman Concert

Experience the Museum at night during the Fall! On Mighty Sky Night the museum will stay open until 10:00 p.m. with special astronomy and nocturnal animal programs for the entire family.
The date of the event coincides with the Leonids meteor shower and the Beth Neilsen Chapman concert, the second in the Museum's Oasis Project concert series. Chapman, who has penned hits for country music stars Faith Hill and Martina McBride, recently released a new CD, The Mighty Sky, a collection of songs about astronomy.
Mighty Sky Night activities will include three concerts, a matinee for families at 3:00 p.m. as well as concerts at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The performances will include hit songs written by Chapman and made famous by Faith Hill and Martina McBride. Chapman's The Mighty Sky CD has won several children's music awards and is recognized for its artistic originality appealing to all ages. Find ticket information and purchase tickets here.

To attend Mighty Sky Night, Museum members will be admitted for a reduced fee of $7.00 and $3.00 for ages 4-12. For non-members, regular admission rates will apply.
