The "Ansel" Look: Creating Eye-Popping Black & White Prints - Dr. Stephen Buchmann, Instructor

Black and white says it all! If you ever wanted to convert color landscape or macro photos into captivating black and white fine art prints; this is the perfect class for you!
The first day, we'll be out on grounds with our digital cameras to photograph great subjects. In the classroom, we'll discuss various conversion strategies from color
to black and white in Photoshop; and an explanation of the amazing power of Silver Effex Pro. We'll experiment with Silver Effex Pro on Steve's computer. Bring a favorite landscape or close-up images (jpeg or tiff files) along with a laptop computer with Photoshop Elements or Photoshop CS3-5 installed. No prints will be made in this class but print-ready optimized black and white tiff files will be created by the second day.
