Watercolor I - Linda Feltner, Instructor

Learn the basics of watercolor and find out why it remains the traditional medium for depicting nature. You'll practice using different kinds of washes and brushwork, learn how to create hard and soft edges, and mix color using a limited 6-color palette. You'll make small value and color studies to help solve composition problems before you start work on a larger illustration. You'll get lots of personal attention plus handouts and demonstrations to help you progress with confidence.

Prerequisite: Nature Drawing in Pencil I and Color Mixing
